The RECHNER Industrie-Elektronik Series 70 and Series 80 capacitive proximity sensors have special features that can sense solid and liquid materials. These sensors function based on the principle of capacitance variation when approached to an object, thus making them extremely useful in industrial and food-based applications. The proximity sensors are very effective in detecting materials with differing thicknesses as well as a liquid in terms of consistency.
